Product Description
Extractor - Maxant 4000-20Extracts 20 full-depth or 40 ideal or half-depth frames. Also available in 30, 50, or 70 frame capacities. Heavy gauge stainless steel with angle iron support around top and bottom. Hinged covers can be opened from either or both sides. The Series 4000 Extractors are radial extractors driven by a 180V permanent magnet DC motor with variable speed control. Standard AC current is converted to DC current which gives full torque even at low speed. Electronic speed control variable from 0 to full speed. Automatic timer shut off. Emergency hand brake in addition to electro-magnetic brake. A drag plate on the under side of reel slows it down automatically to prevent "over-flooding" of honey which could damage the motor.
