Maxant Series 3100 Semi-radial Extractors

 

Hand-operated machine uses a 4 to 1 V belt drive

Electric model uses a 1/8 H.P. geared variable speed 220 V motor, controlled by a dial-operated rheostat.

Both units have a fixed-screened reel holding 3 full-depth or 6 shallow frames. Note how shallow frames can be held with stainless clips, extracting is radial and continuous. No need to turn frames (an outstanding feature). Full-depth frames are tangential and will need to be turned.

Can be purchased with or without legs. Leg kits sold separately (05835). Electric motor and speed control can also be purchased separately (05836). Which means the hand-operated machine can be upgraded to electric at a later date, as the number of your hives increases.
